A Web3 phishing case I encountered (quick warning)
1 hour ago by that's not my neighbor game
I once encountered a fake airdrop website shared in a project's Discord server. The interface was almost identical to the official site, only the domain was different, making it easy to be mistaken. When connecting my wallet, the site requested a "claim" transaction.
Upon carefully checking the signature, I discovered that this transaction actually approved all the tokens in my wallet. If you're not careful, the risk of losing your assets is very high. Since then, I always carefully read the signature and use scam alert tools like ScamSniffer to avoid malicious links.
Hopefully, this short sharing will help everyone be more cautious when interacting with Web3 links.
